As an Associate Software Engineer within our Product Reliability Engineering team, you will be a crucial member of a diverse full-stack engineering unit, focused on conceptualizing, designing, developing, and validating agentic solutions and software products. These solutions will operate at a global scale to foresee and mitigate real-time reliability issues within Visa's rapidly evolving technological landscape. Your contributions will directly influence the digital future of fintech transactions, ensuring an exceptional reliability of 99.9999% and beyond.
- Undergraduate degree, or three or more years of pertinent professional experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or a related technology-engineering discipline
- One to two years of professional experience with an undergraduate or advanced degree (e.g., Master's, MBA, JD, MD) in Computer Science, or an equivalent technology-engineering field
- Familiarity with developing agentic solutions utilizing tools such as Cline, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Power Automate
- Proficiency in Software Development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies including Agile, employing programming languages like Java, Go, Python, Scala, JavaScript, or .Net
- Development expertise in constructing and utilizing Microservices with HTTP, REST, and JSON protocols
- Experience with either relational or NoSQL database systems
- Competence in using GIT-Stash, Maven, and Jenkins
- Exposure to streaming platforms such as Kafka
- Familiarity with tool development, automation (CI/CD, automated deployment, system availability), logging, and monitoring practices
- Understanding of large-scale data analytics and statistical modeling
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication proficiencies

- Develop Deep Learning solutions using AI/ML Platforms for real-time transactions at a scale exceeding 100,000 transactions per second and processing petabytes of data
- Engineer code and systems that impact 40% of the global population while shaping Visa’s internal benchmarks for scalability, security, and reusability
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration to produce design artifacts and implement leading-edge software solutions for Visa’s commercial offerings and services
- Actively contribute to product reliability enhancements, valuable service technology, and new operational workflows within diverse agile teams
