We are seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to become part of our Cloud Infrastructure and Application Monitoring division. This position is perfectly suited for recent graduates or professionals at the start of their career (0-1 year of experience) who are enthusiastic about beginning a journey in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, and Systems Engineering. - Fundamental understanding of Cloud Platforms like AWS or Heroku.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- A foundational knowledge of monitoring and logging utilities.
- Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS/Azure Fundamentals) are advantageous.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure and applications to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Assist with daily operational tasks on Heroku and AWS platforms.
- Diagnose and resolve production-related issues under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Establish and maintain monitoring dashboards and alert systems using tools such as Logtail, Datadog, and CloudWatch.
- Execute regular database inspections for Postgres and Redis, and aid in backup and maintenance procedures.
- Adopt and implement cloud security standards, including IAM roles, security groups, and Cloudflare DNS & WAF.
- Take part in the incident response lifecycle and document outcomes.
- Partner with development squads to enhance application infrastructure.
- Address incidents to minimize service disruption and escalate critical problems as necessary.
- Develop and sustain clear technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Engage in R&D efforts to advance system and process improvements.
