The Accounting Integrations team at Rippling automates financial data flow between Rippling products—Payroll, Spend, Travel, and Procurement—and external ERPs like NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Xero. As a Frontend Software Engineer I, you will help design and build scalable, reliable systems that ensure seamless synchronization and reconciliation of financial data. This is a high-ownership role where you’ll contribute to new product features, improve existing infrastructure, and support enterprise-grade integrations as Rippling expands globally. You will work closely with senior engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver impactful solutions for customers.
- Contributions to open source or competitive programming experience
- Strong CS foundation from Tier-1 institutions
- Experience with backend technologies (Python, MongoDB, etc.)
- Experience in designing and building SaaS products
- Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+), React, HTML, CSS, and testing frameworks
- Knowledge of front-end performance optimization techniques
- Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, software design principles
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a cross-functional team
- Proactive mindset with eagerness to learn and solve real-world engineering challenges
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to develop robust and scalable accounting integration features
- Design, build, and maintain automated data synchronization flows between Rippling and ERPs like NetSuite and QuickBooks
- Debug, analyze, and optimize front-end systems for reliability and performance
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
- Participate in feature design discussions and bring fresh problem-solving perspectives
- Contribute to code reviews and uphold high engineering standards
- Learn Rippling’s tech stack and receive mentorship from senior engineers
