As a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L1), you will provide first-line support to ensure client IT systems remain operational. This role involves monitoring infrastructure, investigating and resolving incidents, fulfilling service requests, executing maintenance activities, and contributing to projects as needed.
- Entry-level or completion of relevant internship program
- Basic experience in network, data center, systems, or storage support
- Familiarity with management agents, redundancy concepts, and IT products within network/data center/telephony/exchange/storage/cloud/backup domains
- Strong communication skills and cultural adaptability
- Ability to plan activities considering changing circumstances
- Positive outlook and resilience under pressure
- Client-centric mindset and active listening skills
- Willingness to work extra hours when required
- Monitor client IT infrastructure and solutions
- Identify problems proactively and resolve incidents
- Investigate first-line incidents and identify root causes
- Fulfill approved service requests
- Provide telephonic or chat support to clients
- Execute maintenance activities including patching and configuration changes
- Ensure smooth handovers during shift changes
- Escalate and report incidents as required
- Update and create knowledge articles
- Optimize processes and explore automation opportunities
- Support Disaster Recovery implementation and testing
- Contribute to project work when needed
