We are looking for a Java/Scala Developer to join our FRPPE-FinTech team in Mumbai. This Associate-level role is pivotal in reshaping Morgan Stanley's operational framework by developing and sustaining software solutions aligned with business objectives. - Proficiency in Java/Scala programming, with hands-on experience in web development, REST API services, data engineering, and high-throughput data processing systems.
- Comprehensive experience with DevOps tools, including a strong background in performing unit and functional testing as a developer.
- Prior experience with rule engines such as SlateX, ILog, or JRule is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with job scheduling tools; experience with Autosys is particularly advantageous.
- Demonstrated strong capabilities in system design and architecture.
- Basic knowledge of Angular for user interface development is a plus.
- Previous experience within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Power BI for data manipulation and creating dashboard reports is advantageous.
- Working knowledge of Snowflake, along with fundamental SQL and ETL concepts, is considered a plus.
- Conduct detailed business and data analysis to examine complex business issues, collaborating with clients and internal teams to formulate effective solutions.
- Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web and data processing applications, adapting technology choices based on component requirements and strategic team goals.
- Optimize application performance and scalability to ensure reliability for large-scale enterprise deployments.
- Collaborate with product management to define and specify new product features and enhancements.
- Guarantee the overall quality and integrity of the final product by implementing thorough unit testing, creating comprehensive documentation, and performing ongoing maintenance.
