Basic Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Two or more years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency with ReactJS and JavaScript.
- Proven experience building Single Page Applications (SPA).
- Familiarity with GraphQL clients, such as Apollo.
- Background in implementing authentication and data caching solutions.
- Competency with web platform development tools including Node.js, Express, AWS Amplify, AWS Lambda, AppSync, and GraphQL.
- Knowledge of API security best practices.
- Experience with DynamoDB, Amazon Aurora, or a comparable relational database management system.
- Proficiency with source control repositories like AWS CodeCommit, Git/GitHub, or SVN.
- The following additional technical competencies are beneficial but not mandatory:
- Knowledge of Material Design principles.
- Familiarity with Material-UI or other front-end component libraries.
- Skill in developing responsive user interfaces for various screen sizes.
- Competence with modern IDEs like VSCode, including integrated plugins for version control and code formatting (e.g., ESLint).
- Experience with testing frameworks like the React Testing Library.
- Understanding of ECS/Docker.
- Familiarity with distributed or event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka or Kinesis).
- Previous experience working as part of an agile team.
- Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine optimal designs and user flows for applications.
- Exceptional multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
- The capacity to operate independently and as a cooperative member of a team.
- A satisfactory background check is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and improve cloud-based, SaaS web applications designed for clinical trials.
- Partner with product, engineering, and software quality assurance (SQA) personnel for integration, design, and verification tasks in an agile setting.
- Comply with industry best practices and internal quality standards for code security, performance, and maintainability.
- Utilize established frameworks to deliver a consistent user experience across multiple platforms.
- Execute unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting procedures as necessary to ensure high-quality output.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation pertaining to development and enhancement assignments.
- Contribute to the refactoring and reworking of key modules as guided by senior personnel.
