Many areas of expertise related to computer science and electrical engineering, such as AI/ML, computer vision, image processing, algorithms, digital signal processing, audio engineering, data science & analytics, distributed systems, cloud, edge & mobile computing, natural language processing, knowledge engineering and management, social network analysis, computer graphics, image & signal compression, computer networking, IoT are highly relevant to our research. ATG Bangalore is a fast-growing R&D operation focusing on the next generation of sound, sight, and multi-modal experiences using perceptual sciences, foundational systems, and AI. In this internship you will spend three months with our researchers to investigate a cutting-edge topic. We will work with you to define the problem statement and research plan that leverages your competencies and results in top-tier novel research that is fun and exciting.
- AI & Machine Learning for Media: AI systems for processing and understanding audio, video, text, and multimedia content.
- Real-Time AI on Edge Devices: AI systems that adapt in real time and respond to emotions, designed for use on low-power edge devices.
- Immersive AI Content Creation: AI tools for creating interactive, multimodal (audio, video, text) and immersive experiences.
- Human Sensing & Multimodal Perception: AI that interprets human behavior and senses (e.g., gestures, facial expressions, bio-signals) for enhanced user experiences.
- AI in Computer Vision: AI techniques for video and image capture, compression, enhancement, and scene understanding.
- Work closely with Dolby research teams to better understand industry-based research.
- Hone your skills in AI/Machine learning or the appropriate creative tools.
- Drive cutting-edge research resulting in top-tier publications.
