In this role, you will be responsible for engineering, creating, documenting, and maintaining systems and applications used by a large developer community. Working within an agile engineering team, you will plan and carry out technical projects that align with business objectives. You will also partner with engineers from various teams to develop, evaluate, and launch scalable solutions for diverse use cases.
- Between zero and one year of professional experience in software development or programming.
- Demonstrated expertise in at least one programming language, such as Ruby, Node.js, Python, Java, or C/C++.
- A strong grasp of operating systems, databases, and networking principles.
- The capability to operate on Windows and Linux platforms beneath the application layer, handling file systems, kernels, custom installations, scripting, and internal APIs.
- Excellent ability to convey information clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues within the organization.
- A proactive and effective approach to diagnosing and solving complex, real-world problems.
- A startup-oriented mindset, a keenness for learning, a strong work ethic, and the ability to excel in a dynamic environment.
- Architect and construct systems and applications, focusing on agility and quality at a large scale.
- Take full, end-to-end ownership of your assigned tasks, from initial development through to production release.
- Assist in the ideation, implementation, and rollout of numerous significant product features.
- Contribute to a collaborative environment by participating in code reviews and working closely with fellow engineers.
- Promote technical best practices and lead initiatives for engineering enhancements.
- Devise solutions and troubleshoot issues across a wide variety of operating systems and programming languages.
